Jean Ellen Sotansky, known by friends as Jeannie, is a local Saratoga Springs artist. Her professional practice started out as strictly oil painting, but has evolved into digital work and large scale murals. Her work can be seen publicly at several restaurants and bars throughout the capital region. If you’ve ever enjoyed a canned beer from Druthers Brewery then you’ve seen her work because she’s the artist behind the drawings.

Her personal practice is mostly figurative, with saturated colors and patterned filled. They’re made to portray the patterns of every day life and the emotions that come with adjusting and becoming one with your environment.
